Independence coaches and players both credit one specific offseason experience for helping the Eagles find their new sense of commitment and brotherhood.

Reinhardt has been tested several times this season, but the team has been mentally tough enough to rise to nearly every challenge. The preparation for that started during the offseason when Kaplan brought in some Navy SEALS through Stonewall Solutions to conduct workouts with the team.
